Dueto Apple’s sorcery, the jump from 38 to 40 is not as pronounced as from 40 to 42. Explanations welcome. Because the 38mm is actually 38.6 mm tall and the 40 mm exactly 40mm tall. Likewise the 42mm is 42.5 mm tall and the 44 is exactly 44mm tall. To add to this, the 38 and 40 have similar widths whereas the 42/44 are substantially wider.
Ijust purchased a Series 5, 40mm, GPS model. I get a decent 22 hours battery life. I take off my watch from charger at 11.30pm at 100%. Get some sleep tracking done with pillow app.
Its the perfect size, I think considering you have smaller wrists then me you may find the 40mm better than 44mm. But it's totally a personal decision. I don't like too much bulk. Search YouTube for galaxy watch 4 or 5 and your wrist size (some of the videos titles are in inches) and you can see some comparisons. 2.

Myworkplace offers reimbursements for a fitness tracker, and I got reimbursed for a 41mm S7. If I want to, I can return this, get the 44mm SE for $250 during the Black Friday sale and keep the extra money. I upgraded from a 42mm S3 which I
Ijust bought the 44m SE yesterday & love it! I have small wrists so I was worried the 44mm would be too big, but it’s not. The 40mm was too
Itseems you’re only paying half for it, which means the SE would cost $140 and the S7 $200 (or a little more for the larger sizes). I recommend the S7, as the larger display alone is worth $60 to me. The only difference between the se and the 7 is ecg, blood oxygen, always on display, and a larger display.
